For example, NMAT Exam for Narsee Monjee, SNAP Exam for Symbiosis, XAT Exam for XLRI and many more.

The Procedure and Eligibility:

For the CAT examination, the forms roll out every year around August-September. You need to fill the form and pay the required fees to appear for the exams. After that, you receive an admit card around October and the examination is held around the last weeks of November. The procedure repeats every year. Any candidate with minimum 50% marks in their graduation can appear for the exam and there is no age bar for it.

The Examination consists of three sections,

1) VARC – Verbal Ability and  Reading Comprehension

2) DILR – Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

3) QA- Quantitative Ability

The entire examination is of 3 hours (120 minutes) and a specific time is allocated for each section (40 minutes each section).
